I made this album at home during the winter months of 2018. It is for meditation and dancing.

In the middle of „Ki“ there is a part where the chord shifts from minor to major and the sound spreads out and becomes even swirlier. I wanted Ki to be in the middle of the album because I kind of imagined this part like an event at the core of the record, like a night-flower opening for a brief moment that you only get to witness if you work your way to the very center.

It is also an approach to the way I see the vibration of life: a chatter, an incessant bubbling of excitement rippling through the air, our bodies and every living thing. Yet it remains impersonal: it just chatters, it is not directed at anything, it is not for anything; it is for itself.

It is what I am most interested in sonically in its purest form.
